frequently asked questions
If you have any further questions, please contact me.
Firstly, contact me to see if I’m available for your date.
The next step is to fill in a short booking form and arrange payment of the reservation fee (the date is not secured until this is received). Reservation fee is 20% of your final total which is non refundable after the 2 week cooling period. The reservation fee is subtracted from your final balance. You will be able to see this from the invoice that I will send.
Once I have your booking form, reservation fee and your invoice signed (Contract) I will then send you any further information about the next steps.
By filling in the booking form and paying the reservation fee, you agree in principle to the terms and conditions. These are listed on your contract. If for any reason when you receive the contract, you change your mind let me know and I will return your reservation fee to you if it’s within the 2 week cooling off period.
The final balance is due one month before the wedding.
Sure thing – Just let me know as and when you make a payment and i’ll email you to confirm that it’s been received.

Yes definitely – I offer an in person or online meeting as part of my services. This helps so we can discuss arrangements and timings of the day and to go over any details to make sure your day is perfect and to give you some peace of mind. I also like to show you MP3 versions of your chosen songs if this is an option you have booked.
Yes. If the performance is outside I will need access to an outdoor power socket or be able to run an extension lead. I would generally not run an extension lead longer than 20m due to safety reasons.
If you think this might be an issue, please contact your venue in the first instance for their recommendation.
Yes – More and more venues are listing PLI as a requirement now. As a member of the Musicians Union, I have full liability cover and equipment insurance. Electrical equipment is PAT tested yearly. If they need to see proof of my documents just put me in touch and I can send them over a scanned copy.
You can choose the songs from my song list that I can provide for you or I can put together a bespoke playlist if you’d prefer.
I can’t 100% guarantee that I will be able to do every special request but I will try my best! Requests must be sent to me at least 1 month before the wedding – depending on my workload.
How many songs should we choose?
For a typical wedding ceremony:
● One ‘Walking down the aisle’ song
● Up to three songs during the signing of the register
● One recessional (exit) song
For Drinks reception/evening events:
● Approximately 15 songs per hour
● You can either – choose all the songs, leave it to me to put together a set list, or
somewhere in between (pick a few favourites and i’ll fill in the gaps with music based on your choice)
I’ll adapt the song and end it at an appropriate point so we’re not standing around waiting for me to finish.
It is.. However I have a minimum charge of £280. Much as I would love to perform for a cheap rate it will prevent me from taking on a full wedding booking.
I will always ask you if you have special requirements for dress code for your big day and comply with this. I would describe my style as sophisticated and elegant and I will always make sure I look professional for your day.
Yes – I can be booked for any gigs or events that you have. If you are interested in this please contact me and I can send you more information and create a bespoke quote for you.
